The idea for a game about Clippy had been there for a while, but I never knew how to build it or what it could even become. Once I found out Yandex Games takes a looser stance on copyright, I finally decided to give it a shot. Development took about a month and a half, and after launch I got almost no players — I was pretty disappointed at the time. But I enjoyed making it: a simple clicker, sure, but working on it was fun.

I had almost forgotten about this game, but about five months later Yandex Games changed its recommendation algorithm — and it suddenly started getting recommended and played a lot. I think the look of it helped too, unusual for the platform — with weird gifs.
